Imagine Your Story Summer Reading 2020

 

Join Friday Memorial Library's digital Summer Reading Program by registering at newrichmondlibrary.beanstack.org or downloading and registering on the Beanstack app. Earn digital badges and tickets to use toward prize drawings.

Paper reading logs are available at the library, please contact the Library at 715-243-0431. Participants may only use the online program or the paper program. 

 

How to Register

  • Click Register an Individual or Family
  • Follow the prompts to get yourself and your family members registered for 2020 Summer Reading Challenges
  • Start logging your reading and completing activities beginning June 22
  • Earn badges to motivate and tickets to put toward prizes

Using the Beanstack Tracker App

  • Download the Beanstack app (available through the App Store or Play Store)
  • Select Get Started
  • Does your library already use Beanstack? Select Yup!
  • Type in Friday Memorial Library
  • Select Don’t Have an Account? Sign Up at the bottom of the screen. 
  • Follow the prompts to get yourself and your family members register for the 2020 Summer Reading Challenges
  • Start logging your reading and completing activities beginning June 22
  • Earn badges to motivate and tickets to put toward prizes

Youth Summer Reading: Ages 0-11

Imagine Your Story this summer! Log minutes read and complete activities through Beanstack (or on a paper log) to earn digital badges and tickets to put toward prizes. Complete the program by reading 900 minutes between June 22 - August 22 and earn a free book. All prizes will be awarded at the end of the summer. 

Mayor's Reading Challenge: Ages 5-11

Mayor Fred has an extra challenge for readers age 5 to 11 this summer. Complete at least 12 of the activities listed in the challenge by August 3 to receive a certificate and special prize! The Mayor's Reading Challenge will be available on Beanstack and in paper format.

Teen Summer Reading: Ages 12-18

Log books read and complete activities through Beanstack (or on a paper log) to earn digital badges and tickets to put toward prizes. Complete the program by reading 6 books between June 22 - August 22 and earn a free book. All prizes will be awarded at the end of the summer.

Adult Summer Reading: Ages 18+

Log books read and complete activities through Beanstack (or on a paper log) to earn digital badges and tickets to put toward prizes. Complete the program by reading 8 books between June 22 - August 22 and earn a free book. All prizes will be awarded at the end of the summer.

 

 

Virtual Programming Schedule 

This summer we have partnered with Page Turner Adventures to bring you 10 weeks of virtual summer programming.

Every weekday we'll post a new video to our Facebook page for you to enjoy. We'll have performances, crafts, cooking, authors, special guests and more!
